At Boren & Boren, we honor the contribution
and sacrifices birth mothers make. If you're pregnant and considering
adoption, we'll do everything in our power to safeguard your rights,
considerations, and feelings throughout the entire process. Also,
please know if you do choose adoption, we'll work hard to make sure
the baby is placed in a loving, happy, and healthy home.
We don't want you to make an important decision
like this in a vacuum. So, from the beginning, we'll inform you
about state and national law so you can understand and fully appreciate
all your rights and options. Then we'll stand back and allow you
to make all final decisions on your own — without undue influence
or pressure from ourselves or others. We'll just make sure that
first you are armed with the best information available.
If
you decide to pursue adoption, once it is finalized we'll allow
you to determine the extent — and even existence — of
any future relationship with Boren & Boren. We understand and
respect that sometimes women feel a need to get on with their lives
and to put a pregnancy and subsequent adoption behind them. By the
same token, however, we are also happy to comply when birth mothers
contact us periodically for updates of information about the adopted
child, or to ask us to pass on letters, pictures, or information
to the adoptive family.
